About Us
Liz's Pet Shop was first established as Liz's Bird Shop back in 1996 in a tiny building on Chicago Avenue by an enthisiastic bird breeder, Liz. Liz raised all kinds of birds, from cockatiels to moluccan cockatoos and blue and gold macaws.
After some time, Liz and husband Gabriel saw a need for good foods and supplies for other animals in the community. Bringing in food for every kind of pet, they saw a further need to educate customers on proper nutrition of their animals, and becoming selective of the foods carried.
